The coffee comes from the small island of Idjwi in Lake Kivu between Congo and Rwanda. This calm, lush island is home to a number of tiny coffee farms, all situated at 1600 - 1800 mass and producing very high quality coffee. Due to their sizes, these farms have joined forces in a cooperative, where they together own a few washing stations. One of these washing stations is called Ngula, which is where the coffee in this bag comes from. The coffee berries are picked by hand when they are perfectly ripe, then collected to the washing station to get fully washed.

Craft roasted by hand in Sweden.
